Silver Danielle is a justice seeker, educator, intercessor, and lover of Christ. As a soldier on the front-lines of protests and marches, as well as the spiritual battlefield, Silver is both and activist who fights injustice and a great commissioner who seeks to glorify God in everything she does.
Silver holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Michigan State University, and a teaching certification from the University of Michigan. While receiving a formal education, she educated the masses on matters of race, gender and educational. In college, she performed various roles including president of the Black Student Alliance. Her compelling commentary, both during her college years and post-graduation, have been featured in The State News, theGrio, Lansing State Journal, The Huffington Post, ABC Channel 7 News, and PUSH Radio. Additionally she has served as a Teach for America educator and guest lecturer of Women’s Studies at MSU and UM-Dearborn.
Silver continues exercising her voice to enlighten youth and adults alike. She is the English language arts teacher at Detroit Leadership Academy where she is a two time nominee and winner of the Golden Apple Award for her excellence in teaching . Through Silver’s personal ministry, she utilizes gifts of prophetic and intercessory prayer to abolish spiritual hindrances. With God’s instruction, Silver created Her Royal Dopeness blog in 2015. Soon she began hosting prayer events and has released a hip-hop intercessory prayer CD entitled, HUMBLED. Silver envisions the bass-filled beats will entice the younger generations, and galvanize the “unchurched” as the prayers penetrate their hearts and minds. HRD’s most recent venture is Operation: Heal the Land, which stems from the belief that in spreading Christ-like love, along with teaching people to humble themselves and pray, she seeks to meet the needs of the land through community outreach.
Detroit bred, Silver Danielle serves as Board of Director of both SDM2 Project Education, and T.U.F. (The Underaged Feminist) Cookies. She loves binge-watching Netflix, thrift shopping, and her newfound love is cooking. She is currently writing a book, sophomore to her freshman book, Shop Till You Drop, which was published at age nine.
